Dubai Breaks Ground on the World's Tallest Tower

Not content with being home to the world’s tallest skyscraper, Dubai recently announced that it intends to achieve another architectural world record. The Tower at Dubai Creek Harbor, which is set to be completed in 2020, will be the tallest tower in the world. Though the announcement did not state how tall the proposed structure will be, it’ll have to be at least 2,723 feet in height. The record belongs to the Tokyo Sky Tree which stands at 2,722 feet high. Visitors to the forthcoming record-breaker will feature a view of Dubai’s waterfront and several garden-themed observation decks.
